The young and dynamic team in Hatchstone Capital wanted a brand identity that represents their concept of hatching start-ups to grow them into successful companies. A metaphor—stone is chosen to resemble tough and permanent, to signify long term stability in investments.
We quickly got down to exploring multiple angles and suitable metaphors such as gem stone and egg to see if something clicks. One ideation lead to another, and rough sketches turned into semi-solid concepts to be represented to the client.
The chosen logo mark was the result of successful collaborative effort between the client and us. We moved forward with the identity that we believed embodied the business and culture of Hatchstone Capital.
